Smalt Blue

Our handmade watercolour paint Smalt Blue is made from finely ground glass which is coloured by cobalt oxide. We respect the uniqueness of this pigment with careful hand mulling, thus retaining the intensity of the blue.  The natural tonal range and granulation of our Smalt Blue will give sky-scapes distance and energy.
