Burnt Umber

Description

Our handmade watercolour paint Burnt Umber is an essential brown to have in your palette. The rich and earthy tones are especially good in landscape painting. Its ability to lift easily and dilute gives the artist a good tonal range. Use as a mix to create darker colours. Try mixing with Ultramarine Blue to make greys and blacks.

Burnt Umber is part of our Natural Earth Pigment Range. Visit other colours in this range here: Italian Yellow Ochre , Graphite Black, Genuine Hematite, Vine Black.
